About Me

Hi I’m Andy, nice to meet you.

I was born in London UK, longer ago than I care to admit. I’m a proud Sci-Fi nerd, aficionado of dark British humour, and love nothing more than getting wrapped up and swept away by a great story, whether via a book or a song or conversation.I drink copious amounts of tea and love a nice stout or whisky every now and then.I’m a Dad, Grandad, Uncle, Brother, partner to Claire, friend to many, an ally to racialized & LGBTQ+2S communities, a flexitarian, supporter of green initiatives and a conscious entrepreneur.

Business advice says that I should have a niche. Well I’ve never been good with labels. I’m a Renaissance man (so I’ve been told) with a multi-disciplinary approach to my craft; for over 15 years I’ve been shooting events, live music, architecture, people, nature, food and beverage and more. I dabble in writing and a bit of music making. Each genre influences the other and makes for unusual and appealing results.

So that’s me in a nutshell. But really this is about you and how my photos make you feel or what sort of reaction they inspire.

Have a look around the site and my socials for examples of my photography and if you have any questions, would like to have a chat about my services and how to book or just to connect, contact me here.

I’ll put the kettle on ;

Social Responsibility

Let’s be honest, as much as we’d like to fix all the problems in the world we can’t. But, that being said, we still try our hardest to align our business goals with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and do our part to better the planet and its inhabitants . We strive every day, with every client, to keep the UN’s SDGS in mind as we work. And we can successfully say that in 2020 we contributed 81 trees being planted to combat climate change.

 If you’re interested in working towards a better world and supporting the UN’s SDGS too, consider supporting The Word Forest Organisation. It’s a little part of our heart that comes from the UK, like Andy but without the camera and crazy hair, and the organization plants trees, builds classrooms, facilitates education, and supports women’s empowerment in Kenya.  Every tree planted enables a community to lift itself out of poverty and mitigates the effects of climate change.  We are proud to be a part of this incredible legacy project.  #TreesAreTheKey

 Our world doesn’t just involve us. As our literary love, Terry Pratchett, writes:
“One of the recurring philosophical questions is: ‘does a falling tree in the forest make a sound when there is no one to hear?’ which says something about the nature of philosophers , because there is always someone in a forest. It may only be a badger, wondering what that cracking noise was, or a squirrel a bit puzzled by all the scenery going upwards, but someone.”
